Brian Bailey

Brian has been interested in technology from a young age. He’s been developing websites since center tags were in fashion! Brian earned a master’s degree in information technology and management at Illinois Tech where he now serves as an adjunct professor. Prior to Cro Metrics, Brian spent 12 years in higher education as the director of web development, building and managing the university’s web infrastructure.

Aside from tinkering with technology, Brian likes to spend his time cooking and playing video games. Outside of the house, he enjoys scuba diving, sailing, snow skiing and taking walks with his wife and vizsla.


Nate Schraan

Nate Schraan serves as Financial Controller of Cro Metrics. In this role, Nate has overall responsibility for financial reporting, planning and budgeting, regulatory compliance, accounting, and ensuring the strong financial health of Cro Metrics. Nate has previously held finance and accounting leadership roles across a spectrum of industries and organizational structures such as private equity-backed firms, Fortune 500 firms, and single member owned businesses. Nate holds a bachelor's degree in accounting from St. John’s University and earned his master's in business administration at University of Wisconsin River Falls Graduate School of Business. He is a Certified Public Accountant, (Inactive) from the state of Minnesota.

Nate’s interests include spending time with family & outdoor pursuits of golf, running, & hiking.


Luke Driscoll

Originally from Sydney, Australia, Luke is now based in Cambridge, Massachusetts, where he first came to study at Harvard University. His love for problem-solving and all things puzzles led to him pursuing a career in software. His work has taken him from film production companies, to ed-tech firms, to e-commerce sites, and now to Cro-Metrics!

When he isn't at his desk, Luke can be found logging movies on Letterboxd, snowboarding, or stress-watching the Patriots, Red Sox, Celtics, or Bruins.


Samantha McClure

Samantha comes to Cro Metrics with 13+ years of experience leading marketing operations and strategy. Between her time spent as a Marketing Director at a medical device manufacturer and her tenure in senior leadership at branding and digital agencies – her work has helped companies from across nearly every industry vertical to grow, scale, and succeed in their respective marketplaces.

When she’s not working, Samantha is an avid traveler and dog lover. If there’s a road trip that offers the possibility of a dog friendly hike, Samantha, her partner and their Aussie are always up for it.


Melanie Buck

Melanie has led some of the biggest digital efforts in politics and non-profit advocacy. From 2010 to 2020 she represented national high-profile campaigns and organizations, from Senator Kirsten Gillibrand (D-NY) and the Democratic Governors Association to the Sierra Club and Amnesty International.

She’s an expert in lead generation, testing and optimization and fundraising, and is well-versed in creating and exceeding key performance indicators, having led her clients in acquiring over 15 million qualified digital supporters and raising over $75 million in low-dollar individual contributions.

She has unique experience scaling high-growth companies, serving as an Executive Vice President, Managing Director and President of digital marketing agencies. Her early and sustained success has been driven by a deep dedication to building effective teams through empathetic leadership and emotional intelligence.

She’s equal parts homebody and adventurer and has spent time on six continents. She enjoys spending time with her fellow explorers in the Bay Area while trying to maintain household equilibrium despite the best efforts of two crafty and acrobatic cats.
