Everytown for Gun Safety is the largest gun-violence-prevention organization in the country, spanning a grassroots movement (Moms Demand Action, Students Demand Action), a research arm, and a legal arm. Everytown’s supporters increasingly start their journey not on Google’s ten blue links, but inside AI-generated answers. When someone asks ChatGPT “I want to donate to reduce gun violence, which organization do you recommend?”, the answer is decided before a single click happens.
